Dem Fools & Other Silly Rabbits

The poll’s dirty little secret is omitted in the fable told above by Fournier. Check out the demographics…specifically the party identification section.

This unbiased sampling of the American populace polled 2-to-1 Democrats to Republicans: 36% dems, 18% reps.

When they tried to push the Independents (26%) and None (18%) off the fence in asking them which way they leaned if had to, the totals became 46% Dems and 28% Reps.

Let’s see what the poll outcome would be if they reversed those figures. (And let’s see if the media would scream and holler about how unfair it would be to have such a blatant disparity in respondents—and no mention in the article.)
