What his round-up of charitable-dollars loss estimates neglects is that in addition to taking over banks and health care and Constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, Obama also plans to take over charitable giving.

With his GIVE/SERVE boondoggle, the government will play a more active role in which charities deserve to be in business. (Any leftover volunteers won’t be sent to unworthy charities; they’ll be enlisted in ACORN-sponsored picket lines and mob actions or sent to the file the hundreds of thousands of documents all companies will have to submit under the “cap-and-trade” slush fund.)
